A BIT ABOUT ME

As a third-generation Savannahian, I consider myself blessed to have grown up in a city where history can be found around every corner. Savannah has a way of getting into your soul and capturing your heart. I suppose it was only natural that it eventually found its way into my stories.

For much of my life, my husband and I were busy raising seven children. Life was full, wonderfully chaotic, and there was rarely a quiet moment.

Then, in 2019, something unexpected happened. I picked up a pen and began writing in an old marble composition notebook. What started as a story unfolding in my imagination became my first novel, The Blessing of the Celtic Curse. Little did I know that simple decision would change the course of my life.

Since then, I've written five novels in my Saints of Savannah series, following a close-knit group of friends whose adventures have taken me—and hopefully my readers—from Savannah to Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Canada, and France.

In 2021, my love of storytelling led me to establish Old Fort Press, an independent publishing company here in Savannah. What began as a new venture has grown in ways I never imagined, giving me the opportunity to work alongside talented authors and help bring their stories to readers. Today, I'm fortunate to spend my days doing two things I love—writing books and publishing them.

My husband and I remain rooted in Savannah. Life is still wonderfully chaotic as our family continues to grow through marriages and grandchildren. And no matter how far my travels take me, there's still no place quite like home.
